I live in MN, centre given near Najafgarh, New delhi 27km distance. Which means 54 km a day, if I am to travel during exams. Also the nearest metro station is some 9km away from the centre. Will it be manageable to travel that much daily?
Yes, remember 2 things- 1. You are not alone.. Most of us have to travel far off.. 2. No other choice..you can consider renting a hotel nearby but in that case you will have to take all books for revision & sleeping at new place might be problem for some students..
@raze i live near kalkaji and center is "B.V.M. MODEL SR. SEC. SCHOOL, RAJIV NAGAR, BEGUMPUR, OPP. SEC. 22 OF ROHINI," wich is 39 km from one side. So 78 kms everyday. i beat you hands down \m/
I used to drive all the way from rohtak to dholpur house approx 85 km one way for last yr mains. Only becoz i was most comfortable at my hostel and had to return there for a peaceful sleep after the torture in the exams. So i think you should go for daily up down. Moreover no area in najafgarh is more than 6-7 km from dwarka mod metro station i guess?? Just recheck.
@GKS08 my centre address exactly is Sant haridas public school, near D.K. bus depot, Bani camp..on Najafgarh-Nangloi road. Any suggestion on whether one should go via Dwarka mod or Nangloi? Thanks.
Brother i am quite familiar with dwarka and najafgarh area but i have been on the nangloi najafgarh road once or twice only and let me tell you it is damn crowded to tread on this road from nangloi side. Moreover the place is near to dwarka mod metro station i guess. Do check on google maps. Also the dwarka mod station is on blue line that passes through your place of stay so it ll be easy for you. And dwarka mod station is a busy area so u ll have no problem in finding an auto from there to your center. Hope i am of some help. ATB.
