Best to get it stitched. I ve heard that there are many reputed (and reasonably priced) tailors in Delhi who specialise in Bandhgalas and have been catering to the political and bureaucratic elite since decades. A quick google search should reveal some names. Another safe and reasonable option is Raymond.
You will get fabrics across the price range (starting from Rs. 2k per metre) + another 6-7k for stitching.
