    Progress is slow. :/

I would suggest, you first complete Political Theory. In doing so, you will be learning about political ideologies and what some Political Thinkers say about them.
So, most of the Political Thinkers mentioned in the syllabus make their appearances in Political Theory. (Which is sorta obvious, because they collectively contributed to making the subject of Political Theory)
Now, basic psychological fact, learning is easier and faster when you know something of it already. (And hence the reason for all those orientation sessions)
And then when you read about each Political Thinker individually, you'll have a much better/easier understanding of the said dude/dudette (in case of Hannah Arendt, her views are pretty awesome) and the concepts they propounded.

I tried reading about Western Thinkers initially, then found it a bit boring and finally came to the conclusion which I stated above.

What about you? What's your plan for PSIR?
  • Hello.
I am new to PSIR. Is Indian political thought relatively easier to understand than Western political thought?
Which one should I ideally start with?
