I was wondering why the participation of women in the forum is so low? Much like our Parliament, the civil services or any other progressive walk of life. Clearly, women don't exercise the powers they seek, or is this forum gender biased?
Note: Had been busy with studies for mains, then had gone to my village to see my father's fields, and then had a pile of work at office, which explains my LONG absence from the forum.

@khajoor For one, I don't see any female names coming up, or asking questions. Secondly, you know its a woman when she types out things. They have a way of saying things.
i think "Why is the participation of girls in the forum so low?" will be a suitable title. girl always have loads of friends who have time for them. this is not the situatn with boys. as abhi mai kisi frnd ko call krunga to bolega job me hun , so raha hun , paka mat etc... and the number of male asperents in upsc is way greater than that of female. so girls are not participating here as much as male (not boys).
mazak bahut ho gaya i think girls not feel comfertable in formal environment which is a speciallity of this forum i have a suggestion for the admin (@root) for this. start a group chat in the right side which will not come under any category and will work as a discussion room for any of the user. this will reduce the formality in this forum.
