  • Guys,
This is my first attempt. I have not read Hindu in last one year. Please advise.
You have two paths left to tread upon:

    1) As people are saying, you can go through coaching institutes notes.

2)The hard way and most probably the recommended one is:

Go through this thread and there are various yet relevant topics which have been mentioned which might come for this mains: http://forumias.com/discussion/5226/major-issues-from-which-questions-can-be-asked-in-csm-2014#Item_1

If you can write those topics down in a piece of paper or in a word document whichever but a word doc would be preferable as you have less time then what you can do is take every topic and prepare atleast minimum 50 words and max 100 words keywords or facts on that topic. After this excercise if you can just revise that whole piece of document or notes which you have made even once or twice you can expect a brighter return. Why I am saying this as these are the aspirants who most probably have been preparing current affairs for a longer period of time and they know what was there in the newspapers and what was not so you can do the following excercise or even if some benevolent soul is generous enough to share their current affairs notes after your subsequent request, then you can also do that follow up after thanking him from the bottom of your heart.

Why I am telling you to make notes yourself is that if you are good at making brief, succint and concise notes in your own handwriting no matter you write less or you scribble or whatever you do most probably you will remember even 20 percent of what you sketch and paint(I mean write/note down).

So maybe all the topics wont cover up but whatever you do will give you good returns in this congested prevailing atmosphere just before mains. All the best.

3)Another method is simpler than the 2nd one is that visit GKTODAY website and copy paste the past current affairs relevant(Not PIN or Awards and irrelevant suff not asked in Mains) from at least 6 months preceding December 2014 i.e. mains and keep on revising that. This can also work if you do and revise frequently.

Mains is no more about depth its about range now. At least that is what I tend to believe with the ongoing QP arrangement. :)>-

    Also go through these links:

P.S. Similarly you can search for more such threads where random PDF's are there containing Current Affairs notes. Hope you utilise all these for your preparation and come up with flying colors.
