hey people, I created this thread with the intention to source material for small topics mentioned in Mains syllabus like "e-tech in aid of farmers", "Role of Civil Services in a Democracy", etc
i know these topics are mostly general in nature. however, one reading through main points can be helpful in writing answers especially when there are just 59 days left.
pls help with these topics and share the resources from where they can best be done. which book/ coaching material / govt website would do the best job
GS1: social empowerment, regionalism, communalism & secularism
GS2: Role of CS in a democracy
GS3: Tech missions, economics of animal rearing, e-tech in aid of farmers, disaster management, other science topics (since there is no end of S&T so any bare minimum would be welcome)
GS4: (doesn't fit into Small category, nevertheless putting it here)
I came across a book by Arihant which is comprehensive. please suggest whether that would be better OR notes of some renowned teachers like SK Mishra should be taken
P.S.: in desperate need [-O<

As only 59 days are left so i will not suggest you to read any books/ or go through annual reports of ministry as you have to revise other topics also ......On all the topics that you have mentioned , most probably questions will be asked from current affairs of this year.... So it is better to search for a material which contains the gist of articles published in The Hindu this year related to these topics......... I am not advertising for any one.......... I came across ChronicleIAS academy...they provide weekly articles from newspapers....if you subscribe them you will get access to their archive...I hope they will also contain S&T from Hindu.....Please confirm from them........ But you have to search it for the whole year..... Otherwise you can buy a good current affairs magazine....... i can't suggest any name as i read only Hindu for current affairs......
For GS paper 4 you can go for either Arihant of SK Mishra....It will not make much difference......If you have Arihant, read it..... don't waste time.....
For GS 1,2,3 whatever you have mentioned i don't think you will get many questions except S&T ...don't waste much time on thinking what to read..... revise whatever you have read..... All those who maintain The Hindu notes in soft copy please upload it here related to these topics....I note it down in copy so i can not upload it....By the time i type it your mains will come.....
