There is some confusion because some people are saying that 12th Marksheet and Degree is not required while others have sent theirs. I have sent my 12th marksheet and not degree, will that create problem???
@ Niloy Please ignore my previous comment. There is absolutely nothing wrong in signing the summary sheet. Attaching the mark sheet for 12th STD should also be fine.
They become Sr. SP, and then DIG, IG, ADG and DG, @sananthan . I mean, that's the chain of command that is followed in states. If you mean work-wise, DIG of a zone and IG of a range have more work than those at the HQ. Golf ka toh pata nai, but in places like Delhi-- commissionerate, of course-- there is mighty work.
Haan, voh toh thheek hai, but I meant field work khatam ho jaata hai na? I meant in non-commissionerate states
@Neanderthal IFS ka bhi kuch batao sirji. One of my friend is asking...how much big house one gets in delhi? and in which location they get? Can they retain their house in delhi even if they go to other countries for 2-3 years?
There's a massive IFS colony right next to my school in Chanakyapuri. Otherwise, there are general pool accommodations for them as well. For lower rungs there's the MS Flats on KG Marg, a stone's throw from India Gate.
About the retention part, not very sure. But yes, if you're deputed to a non-family posting, you should be allowed to retain the house @aamengineer .
