  • also at graduation level we study multiple subjects, so do we need to mention all the subjects or important//core ones?
    I studied 17 subjects in grad but mentioned just the field.
  • @Neanderthal

    Bro, one suggestion needed, C&CE or IT, which one ahead.

    @sananthan

    Why you want IT over C&CE, any issues with C&CE.

    My Idea is GST would give more centralisation to C&CE and that would be helpful while DTCand other tax reforms would be good for IT.

    My inclination is C&CE due to the diversity it has.

    under subjects- did u mention only broad fields what u studied?
    but under 10th,12th we even mention languages right?

    you can use subject code/short form.If that is not possible, then mention only the main/core subjects.
  • IT is a more organized service than CCE, @Thor .
  • can we put 0 for those services that we dont prefer to join
    @neanderthal pls help
  • Not really, @Aficionado . Unfortunately not.
  • and my tomorrow will be wasted for CRF stamp drama...the whole issue behind the drama is once UPSC mains applications are available in head post offices and candidates apply there with CRF stamp to make the payments easily...now the all knowing UPSC made it online and still following the age old decadent practices...it is not available in rural areas or even the district head quarters..but bank DDs and atm cards are available even with the lower rungs and rural people...i am a muni who is so angry and i give a bad omen for UPSC..the sadists will face punishments from god..they will visit a hospital for an emergency but they will be asked to fill so many forms and asked to pay an advance...the card machine wont work and cash will not be accepted.....this is one exapmle..they will face many humiliation.... X( X( X( X( X(
    Boss, when you make it to this list, I'm sure you'll feel like giving jhappis to all UPSC members. Till then, have an ice-cream on my behalf and cool down. :)
    Can you think of some concrete reason behind this idiotic tool called CRF for fee payment? Whether I am not able to think of the logical reason behind it, or there isn't any?

    Secondly, if Summary sheet is signed heavens will fall or what disaster will happen?

    P.S. - I did not face problem in either case, but still curious to figure out what UPSC is up to :-)

    You are a pub ad guy. This is a typical example of Parkinson's law -"Officials make work for each other". With the importance of postal services declining in today's world, this is UPSCs little gesture of keeping them afloat :)

    With that, we may soon be back to post office form buying and filling and postal despatch of admit cards ... the old way ! Indeed Project SAMPERA has lived its life. :-D
