Heard that Dr.Lakshmaiah (Dr.Lakshmaiah IAS Study Circle, Hyderabad) has started giving Anthropology Online Classes apart from regular classes. Even many aspirants from different parts of country have started taking them.
Any one attending, please provide information about those Virtual Classes.
hi Santosh iam the student of Lakshmaiah sir, I am attending anthropology classes through online. classes through online are helping me a lot, they helped in reducing my travelling time and sir's explanation is superb.His way of teaching is very simple and easy to understand. i guess he is the only one at present in India who is providing online Anthropology classes...feeling lucky to join in it....
@saikrishnachnadra_54 what is the approach of lakshmaiah sir in these online classes. As u have joined these classes can u tell us in detail about pros and cons of these online classes. Your review will help us a lot.. also will he provide any kind of study material in the form of hard copy (booklets)??
@satty Be careful with their reviews. The guys who posted the first 2 posts joined the forum yesterday and these were their first posts. They seem to be some publicity agents. Take the advise of someone genuine.
wow.....sounds toooo good to be true....ny good left worth mentioning to sugarcoat!!!! no one is this good in ias coaching business...should also learn to criticize a bit so that its belivable.(Lesson for the future)
guys i have been attending those online classes since 15 days,though i joined the direct classes in july of this year i shifted to virtual classes after prelims got over,i was both very costly to stay and time taking to attend direct classes in hyderabad,so with virtual classes i shifted back to my town near vijayawada. classes are good so far,u need atleast 1.5 mbps stable connection for good clarity (iam using 1 mbps though, board would have been more clearer if i have choosen 1.5 mbps plan,yet no complaints i can still write down notes by looking at the board) sir is using wiziq software,it allows a 2 way interaction we can raise doubts while listening to classes biggest advantage of all i found that if incase we miss a class, we can request to view a recording of class but cannot download though :P right now some 15 students are attending the virtual classes,approach them and ask their opinion too before joining the clases.(personally they are a boon to me saved me 10 k a month)just open wiziq site and search for drpvlaxamaiah username and check the followers .get their opinion too recently i discovered that wiziq has a ANDROID appication ^:)^ its working flawlessly on my galaxy note 2 i heard classes on it twice ,worked without a hitch,so if anyone is worrying about not having a laptop try it on your android mobile ,but i recommend a screen size of atleast 5 inches to clearly see the board,good android TABLETs are now available for cheap price try them(like nexus 7).but make sure u have atleast 1gb ram on those tablets to comment on the coaching as a whole,i found them quiet satisfying except for course duration of 4 long months i don't have any serious gripes. some one asked about material(hard copy)....sir doesnt give any printed material on which i felt disappointed too but gives good class notes ,wish i could upload a couple of pics of the notes to give an idea,anywaz to back up the class notes i brought karthick sir anthro notes for 500 at vikas book store both of them should be more than sufficient for exam lemme know if u need any further details
forgot to mention the fee ,i paid 27k for direct classes,but din charge me anything extra for shifting to virtual classes later,might be charging same for virtual classes too,call sir directly,very approachable person.
