I was really appalled at the state of GK qns. Should people be happy that they are scoring 60 odd in such papers or be wondering what has GK turned out to be.
Why should i know who acted in Bobby Jasoos or Kochadiayaan or for that matter what is the height of SS Dam on Narmada. Which is biggest power plant or who is the tallest etc. Are we looking at Manorama ratta folks?
I was impressed by RBI looking at the past papers and thought this will be also a eco revision for UPSC but to my disbelief, things were so bad.
I just hope RBI cancels the contract with IBPS and i would talk to my friends in RBI to convey the same to Mr. Rajan and other folks.
I request all forum members to also communicate through RBI's official channels and request RBI to take back the contract and conduct the exam themselves.

Done it yesterday itself. Through a senior official. GA was worse than PO/assistant level.
@Thor actually this exam is a slap to all serious aspirants....i am also disgusted by this pathetic ,scrap GS questions ....this actually shows the standard of RBI....and of course our govt...and proof is our economy...always in bad state.....no wonder where all the rattu totas are going...

going by your contributions on this forum i understand you are knowledgeable person but here you are following the trend of protesters who thing the process is wrong. IBPS conducted the same exam last year but why the change in nature of GA questions this year is beyond our understanding.
My take.. it is GA not GS plus they may want person to pass prelims who has habit and hobby of reading newspapers rather than working on it as syllabus.
Then they have full fledged subjective stage 2 to check knowledge economics, management and social development.

i am not protesting. I can live without this RBI anyday. But i was interested in working on policy side.
knowing that SS dam was increased by 17 mtr is GA, what is its rank now is not paper knowledge. That is all i want to say
