  • Great thread, although it becomes difficult to read in forum format. Can somebody set up a common Google drive link where others can add the topics and one person maintains it? I can volunteer for environment. And I hope others join in too.

Here are some from my notes (non-static part) that I don't think have been mentioned

    1. Fluoride contamination
    2. Eco-Tourism (GHariyals in Punjab, Lions in MP)
    3. Black Carbon
    4. List of contaminants in construction dust
    5. PM harmful effects
    6. Red Sanders
    7. Sundarban Oil Spill effects
    8. Oil exploration in Arctic - global commons issue
    9. Dumping solid waste into oceans
    10. River interlinking
    11. Clean energy cess/Carbon tax in budget
    12. Rhino Poaching
    13. INDCs.. the old debate, US-China communique and subsequent India-China joint statement on CBDRs
  • consider following wrt difference between antelope and deer
1)antelope have permanent horns while deers horns are not permanent
2)in India deer are found.no antelope species is found in India.
3)antelope are closely related and a subspecies of deer family

    A)1only
    B)12
    C)123
    D)13
How should we remember these? Its so difficult. Is there any technique?
I mean we can use some probability to answer this but many times, I haven't heard the names of these animals.....
Please help me. I know I am sounding stupid here
  • @avinash16 bhai, yeh question bahut fact based hai. At most you can rule out option 2 as we have lots of antelope species such as Nilgai, black buck and chinkara (these species are very common, and were also in news).

Baaki options eliminate karna mushkil hai, if you have not exclusively studied antelopes and deer comparison.

And bro, yeh hi GS prelims ka kamaal hai as many times it boils down to either you know it or not. Zyada scope nai rehta reasoning power use karne ka.
