  • I had the names showing originally, but I took it down when @sananthan asked me to. I didn't want people to be surprised if they were assuming the survey would be anonymous.

Anyway, I have access to the names and it doesn't look like there are many trolls (8 out of 38 have left the username field blank. One user explicitly mentioned he isn't registered on forumias). The scores look ok to me, not tooo outrageous. The entire idea is to allow people to guess as they please without pressurizing them to conform to the mean.

So everyone's ok with showing the username field then? I'll wait for objections till tomorrow morning, then that column is going public. Will also give us something to do tomorrow :)
Do we really need two levels of anonymity?
    +1
I dont know why we want anonymity here at all (:|
  • @dream_ips I think @IAS_passion wanted you to start with your real name :)

@Ging7 Agreed, looks like everyone is ok with making that column public. Screw the "tomorrow morning" deadline. Usernames are now public.
  • let us give ur marks honestly with names and make meritlist and then compare that list with actual upsc list on 10 june.
good idea....we will start with u
i dont believe in individual marks distribution bcz sometimes one paper is dealt strictly than other.my overall score realistically shud be 750 n optimistic 810 .interview marks i dont know how they award but overall i feel i will score 915.
    now its ur turn
    my final score=915

already given my realistic scores on excel
  • @Eddy I too did exactly the same calculation. But how did u arrive at 360 marks for GS pprs?
I mean, previously the maximum score in ethics was mentioned to be around 140 (by insiders) though the average is low. At present, the maximum score in ethics is given as 70-80s (by insiders again, in orkut). It would make a huge shift in the GS total no?!
yeah you are right....earlier i was expecting about 85-90 in in ethics...but i guess now i should count at most 70.....so the total comes down to about 820

Anonymity? Guys as was already pointed out, we are not posting our real names on forumias. So what will happen if we have usernames showing?
Will people stop replying to us/thanking us/liking our posts if they see that we have a poor score?
Edit. I see that anonymity thing is dispensed with :D
  • Looks like @vaibhav, @Heyram, @sananthan and @dream_ips are our toppers here.
