  • @manx okays....
  • there's no awesome 3 or any awesome board only awesome candidates
Full Support! Wisest words in a long time!
Words are gud no doubt. But do u think the guy who got 230 in kilemsgla board would get the same score had he attended alka board?
  • @cyber-frnd - calm down dude.

    2) I don't buy the fact that some boards give you an advantage regardless of what kind of individual you are. You can be a dolt and will still get screwed by the most lenient board and if you are outstanding you will still do very well in the allegedly worst boards.

And yes I did have a Vinay Mittal board interview but I don't buy the theory that that puts me at an advantage.
well i do not agree with ur point 2 ..not based on facts..if wat u think is right why do we see a well defined pattern of low marks in perticular board.. and high marks in some..

    Well said!
  • actually i'm more jittery abt my intvw (vm board) score than u ...M1 asked me abt bal thackeray & i spoke my mind when he interjected saying "but he had such a mass following...yada yada yada" i described him as a demagogue...i could see them frowning... i knew i lost marks but the rationale was "i would rather be out of service for speaking my mind than be in service for speaking theirs"
now i think it was immature and i should have presented a balanced picture

    1) Your premise is incorrect - more GS papers doesn't necessarily mean more clustering. Besides ethics is a wildcard and will have more varying scores than the other three GS papers- another reason why less clustering is plausible.

interview has maximum marks equal to one paper~275 and the marks obtained varies from 120 to 230 so it is almost like a person getting one leas paper.so how can u say interview has no relevance in final rank.

these are the wisest words ..based on facts ..reason ..:)
  • insiders come on....
  • @ananduthaman a deserving candidate would get a gud score regardless of the board..but yes not same score...plus some boards grill on facts while others judge opinions...these cause variations plus luck plays a role...but i don't buy that one is doomed because of the board
