I am devastated by this subjectivity and discretionary power to the board. how easy it is to get a good difference of overall marks based on interviews.. God save us..Amen..!!
But how u guys getting these info. I tried to ask one of my old colleague in UPSC but he told that all the work is very secret n nobody is allowed to talk about it even to the people working in UPSC.
Its human nature to talk about anything which will grab attention of others, so the privileged few involved in the process tend to give out small secrets. Finding average marks is very tough as people involved there are surely no going to use a calculator and find out average. All they usually see is if something stands out, like highest marks lowest marks etc.
I will for sure tell about other boards if and when i hear something. About Mittal board, he just told that very few people will curse him after the results, so maybe he hasn't given below average marks to many.
bhai please do get something about Dewan saheb also! ....although my interview went well,after reading others comments here on Mr. Dewan, his "cunning smile" is giving me jitters! X_X #:-S
I was in Dewan board as well, but the guy i talked to didn't come across his list and no one whispered something in his ears about him.
