friends...i m in little bit confusion n want ur help.....i m a hindi medium student n one of my subject is history...i have already attempted upsc 2011 mains n got 279 in pub ad....so should i choose hindi literature or continue with the same subject. i heard that pub ad is not as helpful for hindi medium students as for english medium..so plz help me......thnk u
The overall problem with Pub Ad is that it has become unpredictable. I think Hindi literature is more predictable. Find out about the predicatability of scoring in hindi litt. Like Pali, philo are predictable in terms of scoring..Pub ad is not. If hindi litt is predictable take it.

yes bro..u r thnking right...i m not appearing in mains ths year...i assumes my number in pre approx 200+ but dont know why i didnt selected for mains.........any way i m preparing for 2013..
@anuragjha_007... there is nothing like that. see language is not the barrier to your efforts and your talent. i guess even Mukherjee nagar is full of the books and material of pub adm. in Hindi also. so don't have such doubts in your mind and it is advisable to opt for this subject as it is not lengthy subject and hence if you want to go for it you must. @anuragjha_007: there was a shock in the faces of hindi medium studs when the saw the results of 2011 pre. this year shock is distributed equally though.
kerela and tamilnadu lobby is veary powerful these days at the center. so obviously results of hindi medium studs wr shocking. this year though lots of hindi medium studs hv qualified for mains. surely this time there final score will be better. nd finally for ur info. medium makes a litteil change, u can say just 30 marks around. which means u still lack in no.s for a decent overall score. pub ad is a conceptual subject ike socio. which can smtimes take u to the highs of himalaya and smtims to the trench of mariana. so if u have doubts on pubad. go for any treditional sub or literature. dnt worry abt the medium there. no 1 can give u a 20 instead of 40 if u r writing a factual sub like geography, history, etc. b o l
