  • No they are asking if you are a bachelor in science and had any of the following subjects in graduation.
    Notification reads -
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering ...

It does not mention bachelor in science. So, i think bachelor from humanity background should also be eligible. Deciding factor will be whether one has studied any of the mentioned subject during graduation.
  • can a person who has done his bsc in microbiology and msc in forensic science appear for IFos
    anyone???

  • Is knock knees allowed for ifos???...i read their medical standards but could not find any reference to the same!
  • Pharmaceutical industry comes under Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers

B.Pharmacy is more of Chemistry than any other subject.
    Bio-Chemistry , Pharm Inorganic Chemistry 1&2 , Organic Chemistry 1&2, Medicinal Chemistry 1&2
It also has Statistics and Maths

Eligible for sure no doubt in that B)

But bhai upsc people are not sure and when i contacted people in pharma department MDU then they outrightly said NO for eligibility. :|
  • i swear ma kasam.any degree with maths, zoo, bot etc as one of the optional in sem r eligible.forget abt what others saying.in bpharmacy course u hv read maths in both 1st n 2nd sem, chem(organic+inorganic)in the same sem so who dares to stop u of becoming junglee man.last but nt least remember the word equivalent in eligibility for ifos.
  • What it says is During graduation one had Atleast one of the following subjects & Not Graduation in that subject. B.Pharm is graduation with Chemistry ,Maths, statistics as one of the subjects. So no worries !
