Folks How much writing practice do you do daily? What exactly do you write? Do you take questions from Insights etc. or do you just write on whatever topic you feel like? Feel free to add any other information related to this.
Yes yes.. I understand threads have been created on this topic last year. No point in creating this new one. Before posting, when I searched, in the first page I only saw that peer review thing. Although that 1 month thing is suspect /:)
bhai join a test series if possible and write in exam conditions. I don't think writing practice is any useful if there is no one to give you feedback. Moreover, writing one or two question at a time is not very helpful since you won't get to know if you will be able to finish the exam in time. Also, don't do the mistake of typing answers on computer, it does not help.
thanks guys. In the past, I used to just read on a topic and write an answer. For me there was no shock-quotient that we sometimes experience on reading a question, for I framed the questions myself.
@abhithepandey Yes I understand Secure 2014 is very good (even though I haven't written a single answer from it ) along with the daily questions on miscellaneous topics.
@abhinitb thanks man. I was looking at vision ias' test series, but price is very steep imo. What do you say?
bhai I just joined vision IAS for the next attempt, have given only one test for sociology - but questions were pretty good. Also, most of the reviews on the forum have been positive about vision IAS. That said, fees is definitely high. But, I am not in Delhi so I really don't have any other option.
@abhinitb I'm from Hyderabad. There are some institutes offering mains tests here but their coverage of topics is not very good. On the other hand vision's 21000 for GS test series 8-X I want to form a small group that will regularly read others' answers and suggest improvements.
