I m getting 266 overall (general candidate), what are chances for qualifying for mains. I called Ps academy they said that for general it wont go down below 280.
last year cutoff : 250/368 = 67.9% 32 marks were not added : 67.9% of 32 = 21.7 Had it been out of 400, cutoff would have been 250 + 21.7 = 271.7 (here people are wrongly adding whole 32 into 250, that means everyone would have scored 100% in remaining 32 questions ... which is not possible)
Last year 4.77 lakh students applied for MPPSC, this year the figure is 2.2lakh ( may be I m factually little wrong, as this is based on an unauthorised source, but certainly atleast 2 lakh few students wrote exam this year). Cutoff is bound to effect heavily because of this.
Difficulty in question papers can be considered same b'coz last year 2nd paper was little difficult and 1st paper easy, this year vice-versa.
In my opinion, this year cutoff would not be more than 265-270. (It could be even lesser). so cheer guys.... and keep working.....
How is the figure 250? Wasn't the cut-off 306 last year?
