Waise isme bdo se start hota hain ya sdm just asking
In Jharkhand it starts with BDO. First promotion to additional collector. In Bihar it starts with SDM rank but additional collector is second promotion, not first.
So you become AC almost at the same time in both palces. Pay scale is also the same. But BDO post is nowhere comparable to SDM. Too much torture in field work. IAS kind of abuses BDOs here. And public to Khair.
