@venom To say that endogamy results in violence is a huge stretch of an argument, but if you need to make it anyway, we can say that endogamy reduces interdependence between kin groups. Levi Strauss in his Alliance Theory says exchange of brides is essential to maintaining solidarity between kin groups. When that's absent, there is scope for violence between groups.
