What is the term mentor or mentorship means

Here actually i am asking everyone's frequent mentioned term that "find a good mentor".
Question is where to find a mentor and is mentor mean something like coaching classes or mentor is like private tutor? I know meaning of mentor that someone who guide you...
But the thing is what and who exatly is good mentor...and where to find him..is anybody know a good mentor.
This all are my doubts. I know it may be boaring and seems to be stupid question but i really want to know about it.

Mentor may be a helpful senior, teacher or any other person who can guide a new aspirant about sources, books, coaching, strategies etc.
