1) no goddamn human knows the cutoff reality for now. No one. Every cutoff assumption is “assumption” , no science here. In real life we’ve been taught optimism. Actually that’s an evolutionary mechanism to live another day - hope.
Agreed. I'm trying to use science based on the data I have to zero in on the cut off. Even though hope is a good thing, false hope is not. I'll be very happy if the cut off is 90. I just don't see it happening.
This is my 1st comment on the forum and probably will be the last. m getting 91.33 considering following as wrong 1) capital infusion (c) 2) GST (1 only) 3) santhal (a) 4) treasury bill (3 only) 5) GACSA (C) 6) LAW AND LIBERTY (c) 7)GM MUSTARD (d)
and following as correct 1)opportunity cost (c) 2) GTR (C)
in 2017 i got 120 , but after exam i thought i committed 6-7 blunders which could have been avoided .This year i dont find any such blunder, except IRNSS which i marked b (didnt read 5500 sq km) and merchant discount rate (didnt read the option correctly and marked a), champaran (d, which i found at that time appropriate ), and FSSAI (question was framed in such a manner) if i dont qualify with this scenario either upsc wants something else (tukka) or it doesnt deserve me. In both the cases this will be my last attempt. I will find happiness in something else and go out of this shit.
I think u'll get through without any doubt. Just don't slip away in the next couple of weeks which may prove costly if they aren't used properly.

@dk26, bro come here to chill. There's no merit in indulging in this cut off speculation game. Let's admit that this year's been the weirdest of all upsc years thus far. Who would have known GACSA before!? But people are sharing resources here to prove their point, as if they've read it before. It's not amusing anymore to see someone ticking something in exam hall and proving it right here.
If it suits you, a very hard working junior of mine scored 51. And, she's not a liar. See, that's what this year's paper has done to most of us. Calm your nerves, and atb.

jab kisi answer key pe bharosa hi nhi hai , to ye cutoff-cutoff khelne ka kya matlab . shankar , vaji , vision sab galat hain mere according to . main to bas probable rank dekh raha hu . isme kuch logon ke badhenge , kuch ke kam honge acc to upsc . lekin cutoff unexpectedly kam jayega iss baar .
