Coaching teachers saying cutoff at 100+/-2 for UR. They are mainly citing the 'low number of seats' argument.
They would state anything. Doesn't matter. If you are getting 95+ you must study. And remember, had they really made it through, they would not be coaching

Different people citing different reasons. I can also cite that this year 3 lakh appeared as compared to 5 lakh last year as per one Indian Express article.
One teacher at my coaching, who looks and talks genuine and has respect of almost all students, said that the coaching people are propagating low cutoffs to hook maximum candidates into their mains' courses. In his opinion, cutoff will not go below 95 at any cost and most probably will be in vicinity of 99-100.

Depen on UPSC key but this time below 80 very bleak chances as per my opinion rest hope for the best

Sir in lower no there is very huge population last year 88.66 goes this time 8 marks down like impossible While UR may be gone 90 to 95 but in sc /st it seem difficult

I can bet my one month salary on it. And believe me, it's good amount.
All those scoring above 95 from any key should get down to serious preparation after a 10-15 day post prelims cool off period.
