Let's Guess the Cutoff with some reason!

Add 6-7 more. Cut off won't go below 105 at any cost. A number of people are scoring above 110. Most of the offline people I've met are above 100. It is only on forumias that people are living in a fool's paradise consoling others, in the hopes that they clear themselves.

This all reminds me of the 2016 situation when low scorers did a lot data analysis to fool themselves. However, people around 100 can be hopeful since the upsc key will vary.

Even if I were, at least I'm not a 'Last Timer'. However, I'm comfortably above 110 even after taking 2-3 doubtfuls as wrong. And a number of my friends are as well. There's life outside Forumias you know.

For me giving interview is a trophy, you won't understand how much effort a general category Aspirant has to put to reach that level ...slowly you will understand in this journey and upsc will make you humble.. don't worry.

But 89 cutoff info this early ! It’s hard to make sense.

It's just the sad part. Ppl after marking it wrong, try to prove themselves right. 2018 paper is similar in difficulty as 2017. In 2018 it will be for history optional ppl making through the prelims cut off. If u want to check then ask a history optional student about his expected score in 2018 prelims. I will not be shocked to see cut off 109+ for CSE.

Cutoff saari copies check krne ke baad hi aaega.pehle se thodi na upsc decide kr legi cutoff.

The paper is more difficult than last year, but people have still reached above 100. Cut off on the basis of last year vacancies would've been around 101-102. But there's a drop in the number of vacancies. Hence a cut off similar to last year.

Bhai mera pre mein nahi kat raha hai. Toh main padhne jata hun. Tu yahin laga reh. Result ke din milte hain. Cut off 105 note kar le aur forum ke bahar nikal liya kar toh khud pata chal jaega kitne marks hain logon ke.
