CSE 2019 Agriculture Optional

Hello Everyone. A newbie here. Seeking guidance (from successful candidates with Agri Optional in CSE) regarding optional preparation strategy and standard books (limited ones only). Requesting successful senior candidates to spare few minutes in guiding us through a detailed strategy for the same. Not much info /guidance is available online (except Pallavi Sarkar Madam's blog) regarding optional preparation and book list. Can Agriculture optional be covered through 2-3 standard books only?(if yes then kindly name the sources). Why only few people take this optional in CSE? (Note: I am from non Biology background, but have interest in the subject).
