  • This thread was intended to learn few things-
    1. One should not rely on answer keys of institutions
    2. To get an idea what Upsc might consider correct, in post prelim Bakar thread there were many who posted some xyz PDF to claim their answer to be correct, none helped.Bottomline is Upsc considers basic stuffs thats it. Instead we should start studying for mains no Matter how pre went.
    3. For irrigation wala question, I still feel somewhere in some NCERT it may have been written that gypsum may not be used in water conservation.
    4. Future learning- Upsc would probably make more ambiguous paper , since seats are less and competition is more. This is just what I feel might happen.
    5. All the best.

Apart from 1-2 question rest all paper was good. this year will happen same 98 questions were perfect and u just needed 53-54 correct. If u cant achieve that than i must say u are not a serious candidate Bitter truth
Yea yea seriously ... I found many guys who are champions of pre ... Never got thru mains... It means mxm serious guys get eliminated in mains only... Those who could not clear pre aren't serious....
Last line is incorrect totally.. there are many of them eg Madhusudan hulgi sir, Mallika Sudhir mam, and many more..the thing is some of them are scared of the past failure in prelim which ultimately results in negativity in the exam.. all you need is confidence and courage to attempt some more mcqs.
He's being sarcastic. Look at the way he is describing prelims champions.
Exactly Bhai.... Seems you too live on sarcasm and have Nana patekar as ur favorite actor. @Mantodas in my upsc journey I have learnt never judge anyone
My bad i thought you were saying other way round..
    :D
  • Last year there were ~13300 serious Aspirants...This year the no of such champions is bound to fall to ~9999
