And what about this issue as Upsc gave cut off 1006 but still general are out from the list ....last year at cut off some were in list and some around just 4 students in reserve ....same trend in 2016 as well.....
It is exactly half of this , you can check from past years results and their reserve list..like last year reserve list was for 109 candidates but in result it was written 220.. actually it is difference of total vacancy minus selected candidate list..so this year it will be 1058-990=68
