  • To add to all the above,
    1. Make an analysis of all major topics beforehand and keep them ready in the mind. When these are asked, answers should be written without much thinking.

    2. Its not possible to analyse all topics and some might have to be done in the exam hall, the overhead for such questions can be compensated with above point.

    But problem here is how to analyse and what sort of points to be prepared. This I think will be known after repeated attempts in the course of study.

    Guys, do you think a better coaching would have helped in writing the exam better ?

    I am asking this coz i dint attend a coaching in Delhi. Would coaching in Delhi have helped me better in my exam ?

    There's no difference between coaching in Delhi and anywhere in India.. In fact according to the new pattern of mains coaching is not at all required.

    this year mains papers proved that coaching institutes are still not so worthy for aspirants,.....

  • What is/are the source/s for S & T related topics ? For Ex: FRP composite material question appeared this year ? This topic isn't in news either. :-?
  • Have you tried , downtoearth.org.in or economist.com/science-technology . Still there would be vacuum in preparation , UPSC exploit the very same of it .

    There was a small piece regarding composite materials in BL this march. Easy to miss but apparently important.
