how many years/months of prep before first attempt ?
Started in October 2016 for pre (8 months before pre). I am 26, so no, i did not prepare from graduation. My aim was just to clear pre in this attempt so gave it my all for pre.
Chose philosophy as optional just when i submitted my optional choice after pre notification came out. Started optional preparation after pre.
P.S: I absolutely hate my optional and wish i could turn back time and take something else. Still cant understand half the things now with full clarity. My mind was blank when i saw the paper in the exam but i somehow managed to finish the paper.
Waiting for marksheets to see how i have fared.

Yes that is me. I went there to ask if they had an interview guidance program, they asked for my daf which i gave. However, they didn't take my mock as they could not arrange a panel in time and i had to leave for delhi for my interview.
So although they claimed me i cannot do anything about it, because i did visit them and had a small discussion on my daf the first time i went. Same happened with nextIAS, i bought their interview guidance program and never actually took any mocks and they put my picture also.
I an ideal world i would sue both of them, but i dont have the time nor the energy to do this.

Yaar mujhe kuch nahi pata. I am not joking, question dekh ke dimag ghum gaya tha in exam hall. Bas jainism, buddhism, taoism, atheism ke around kuch likhke aa gaya. Marksheet dekhne ke baad hi pata chalega how low i got in philosophy, uske baad baat karte hai.
