I have come to know of two instances of attempted impersonation of interview candidates at UPSC Centre this month. Both were female candidates and the impersonators had their roll no, name, fake e-summon letters, fake addresses etc. They were stopped at the gate by CISF but not before putting the real candidates in some rigorous verification process. The fact is that these impersonators were able to get the name corresponding to the roll no in the interview schedule and fake accordingly.
Is this the first time such a thing is happening? What purpose does this act serve these people? They would get caught anyway. And how did they get access to the details. Any old forum members or others who have heard similar incidents, please shed light into this matter.
