How to cover International Relations part holistically ?

I am reading Hindu daily and supplementing it with Insights daily CA and Vision monthly CA for GS-2 IR part. I still think that some background knowledge is I am missing.
So my doubt is, how to cover the static portion of IR ? Is there any book or website to cover it ?

It is divided into various sections. He has explained in preface what a gs only student can avoid. But the book is very good. Plus mind maps are easy for revision
