Please share your strategy for CS exam [Read description](Especially those who made it to interview)

edited February 2018 in Preparation FAQs
Hello, can some of you who reached till interview stage of civil services exam, share their strategy and list of books read. Please takeout some time for that as it would be really helpful for newcomers. The strategies elsewhere on this forum in my opinion won't fit for current exams, as more focus has been shifted on current affairs

You right...was doing that....but I wish someone who had made it through mains this year, would have given latest update...in details, that one would have been bit more honest and elaborate than one on the websites like insights and mrunal.. but I guess I would have to rely on that itself...they are good too.
  • Bro.. There is no one way of doing things....read topper strategies, try to find common thread, play on ur strength... There is nothing latest in upsc....every time they surprise us....so best way is to see previous year papers, syllabus....cutoff etc to get an idea

hmm....but maybe books, magazine etc. there must be some basic must read material. But you are right, maybe I was behaving too lazy to read their stuff and figure out my own strategy ... anyways thanks again for pointers.
