Karnataka is one of those rare states who have consistently defied popular waves and installed a different party than the ones in centre. Karnataka gives a reality check to Pol parties.

That is the reason perhaps siddharamaiah said he is morally unfit to be the prime minister...
My unsolicited recommendations, with a very little knowledge and limited wisdom that I possess, for all the Government Jobs -
1. Keep the maximum age limit to a bare minimum.
2. Maximum Age Limit must not be same for a 3 year BA holder, 4 year B.Tech holder and 5 & half year MBBS holder, for the jobs having Bachelor's degree as requirement.
3. Reduction in Maximum Age Limit must be pre informed and done in a phased manner.
4. Only Regular students must be eligible to apply. Not Correspondence /Distance Learning/Open schooling. Exposure is required.
5. Every MCQ based exam must go online. Why is CSAT not online yet?
6. Hire 100 people every year, instead of hiring 1000 people every 4th year. Keep the ball rolling.

1. I disagree because many students join school at later age in rural area, i was 16 when in 12th while my same friend was 19th, he didnt fail and but his admission in junior school was late due to his family was not financial stable, bare minimum age has nothing to do with knowledge or skill, There are various reason for joining school at later age.
2. Agreed completely.
3. Agreed
4. Not agree because college regular has no exposure unless u are from IIT or top rung college, teir 3 or 4 college is as not better than distance learing. College exposure has nothing to do with type of govt jobs we have today
5. Online as no normalization. 10 lakh people cant be sit on a single day so there will be lots of different set with different diffculties level because keeping same level in each set is jumlebaazi it wont happen Example SSC
6.Not agrred 100 people in 4 years is 400 still less than 1000 every 4 year
haha ...what a logic u re giving....don't u think u re just demeaning students who are not like u or say whose potential for cracking big exams like upsc is not same as u.....brother in india especially i n bihar jharkhand up ...there are any students waiting for these jobs only.....just like we as a upsc students devoted our prime life time reading THE HINDU....birather there are many who have wasted their youth life studying WREN AND MARTIN..... so have a empathy
Totally agree. One must have empathy for others. Every open exam has tremendous competition be it of any level. I am from up.
There is no point fighting bw northies and Southies. There are simple facts like more advancement of south than north. But Southies have misconception of Dravidian identity and false belief of thinking themselves as Harappans. Both lack manners, especially non vegetarians towards vegetarians (mostly northies).
Yes, for government jobs, Congress is best, no doubt about it but it has landed itself in trouble by projecting itself as pro minority. It must work hard. For we people, Congress will be far better.

1. Got a solution to that problem as well. Hire freshers only. Not the droppers. Recent graduates only. Regardless of what their age be. Results must've been obtained in 1st attempt. When private sector frowns at gap year in the resume and extensions in the degree, why shouldn't public sector do the same?
4. Nothing is absolute. Everything is relative.
When it comes to exposure,
Top College > Any College > Correspondence
When it comes to employability, even in Public Sector,
Regular College Grad > Open Learning Grad (provided the candidates fare equally on all other parameters.)
5. Facilitate it! Make it possible! With a reduction in Age Limit and allowing only the regular students, number of applicants are bound to decrease. And number of Computers bound to increase in our institutions.
6. How about 200?
Hiring 200 every year, better than hiring 1000 every 4 years. Show must go on. Recruitment stagnation, not good.
