CSAT:Discriminatory or a propaganda of failures?

Hi all.Its an honest and candid conversation regarding the brevity of the protests originating in 2014 and subsequent removal of CSAT.What is your opinion about it.Was it really a paper tough enough to create bias in favour of IIT /IIM candidates or the fact was it was a reform to cleanse the system of rote memorisation based competition?

It is propoganda. It's the same unemployed youth which go to destroy Padmavati showcasing theatres . It is the same unemployed youth in DU which even after graduating spend time in filthy student politics and violence. It is the same unemployed youth which funds one reason or another to find some form of discrimination in their life and relate it to social structures.

Technology and mathematics is part and parcel of administration and policymaking now. All these points you write in you exam- "monitoring and evaluation of policies must be done to ensure effective implementation"- this is pure statistical analysis. So, let me say it with utmost disregard to these aspirants that they are mathematicalally and probabilistically illetrate.

One can read and master CSAT in way less time than this bakchodi.

That is not pure maths and English literature at all. Even though English was tough for Hindi medium students or others, maths was never based on formulae or calculus. Some people argue in a funny way that if medical science was introduced Engineering and other science students would have protested, how funny that is !!!!!
If anyone wants to test it, introduce medical aptitude, whatever that means.
  • What's your problem mate..??..
    .
If there are some students, who struggle at class 8 level mathematical problems due to low IQ, cannot comprehend even class 5 level English, cannot solve simple riddles, but due to dirty nature of politics in India and their joblessness, they are able to tilt the structure of exam to rote learning by resorting to violence and damage to public property, what is it that you find wrong..??..
    .
They are still struggling to obtain 66 marks, and I won't be surprised if they manage to get rid of CSAT paper as well.

They should be more sad about how engineer and doctors come and destroy these people in their own area of "expertise" ( whatever that means ).

That's what they could not understand.Actually they are "expert sans no expertise".

That was political sell out of government when they changed CSAT from compulsory to just passing through exam. This exam is as important as other gs subjects. Simple maths and probability is like article 21 of constitution: it encompasses all aspects of all fields now. Say health, education, industry promotion, aids surveillance, disaster management, poverty alleviation, regulatory aspects and anything you can think of- it is not possible to do anything now without maths, computer know-how and English.
  • Those who failed CSAT,were actually the dumbest people on earth, most corrupt and frustrated ones without any future aspirations.
