@abhinavdube@ashuks21 To those saying PSIR helps in GS2 and 4 it's wrong it doesn't. Last year I got 321 in PSIR but only 80 in GS2 and 95 in GS4 mainly because I thought same and didn't study those.
PSIR needs multiple revisions and you cannot write your opinion it will never fetch you marks.
It's syllabus is huge around 1.25 times of Pub Ad.
In 2015 PSIR was least scroing after Pub Ad with average score being 215 only last year people scored good.
So take your decision accordingly.
Anthropology me mujhe zirada intrest nai hai per manage hogaa per pSir me hai intrest intne mat daro yarrr
Frankly speaking psir syllabus is quite vast and for an average student covering it thoroughly would take sometime, definitely more than a year. But exceptions are always there as fast learner could do this. And revising psir in one day gap is indeed a herculean task. Now some people say that there is an overlap of gs papers and psir syllabus, but it is only superficial as both demands altogether different approach. Now while talking about SR then her notes are too good but only for revision purpose, you need to read quality books for basic understanding. Most of the time she would only dictate notes in her class which would take around 4-5 months time but she would help you with your study if you approach her with your doubts and questions. It would always be advisable to join her class because others are also doing, and they would be at advantageous position if you don't join it. Finally once you are done with syllabus and answer writing practice which apply to all other optional then definitely a person could score good marks.
