Hi guys,
I'm looking for a political science class room programme in New Delhi. I don't want to attend any high profile and overcrowded classes with no hope for personal sapce with the faculty and team. I'm new in New Delhi and I'm going to attend the free lectures organized by Chrome IAS by a retd IAS on Pol Science (I saw the add on this websites page). Kindly reccommend something and feel free to bing me here if you have any information you can share.

As you don't want to attend any overcrowded classes without any interaction with the faculty, the most renowned one (Shubhra Ranjan) can be ruled out based on this assumption. Although I've not attended any classes of her, but have few friends who did, and they were at receiving end in Paper-2, Section-1, as she isn't too great at it. My friends had to bear the brunt with failure at Mains. Moreover, her approach is always dictating notes and not much focus on explanation and discussion.
Another renowned faculty, who is Ph.D. from JNU is Dr. Piyush Choubey from GS Score, having specialization in International Relations. His classes at max have 60 students, explains everything in detail, discusses topics and issues in class and if someone still needs time after the class, also accommodates him/her.
His students have been selected in recent years too and his success rate is steadily catching up.
You can have a glimpse of his teaching style in the video given below and then can decide.
Regarding some free lectures by a retired IAS, cannot so be sure about it, how much relevant and helpful they will be in present context. You can only just try, may or may not work for you and if in the process some valuable time is lost, it will be very difficult to cover up later.
PS: It's your life, your career, your preparation, you are the one who will have to make a move. So make a wise one, as it will decide your prospects in years to come.
