A total time of 180 minutes. Giving equal weightage to marks, time for question comes out to be : 1. 7 min 12 seconds for 10 markers 2. 10 min 48 seconds for 15 markers 3. 14 min 24 seconds for 20 markers
Obviously, time cannot be divided in this manner (there is the question of difficulty of the questions as well) This is what I try to follow: 1. 15 minutes for the 20 markers 2. 10 minutes for the 15 markers 3. 7 minutes for the 10 markers
Strategy wise as well, I have found that if I attempt the 10 markers in the beginning, I end up spending a lot of time on them. So I first complete the bigger questions (20+15+15) before I move to the 10 markers. The 20 mark questions are the best to attempt to start the paper in my opinion.
