    Hi Rajni,

Thanks for the response. However, I have printed notes of Saroj Samal. Could you please let me know if these will be helpful?

Request you to list down the standard books need to be studied for Paper 1 and Paper 2.

    Thank You

I have planned to do "M Haralambos with R M Heald" for paper-1.
For paper-2, I will rely on class-notes by Mohapatra.
No one can do more than that if starts now.

i'm doing david mandelbaum...getting lost in ignou :(( i dun have upendra/mohapatra's notes...
  • Paper I:
Thinkers : G. Ritzer + coaching notes of mahapatra sir or upendar sir
    Research Method and analysis: IGNOU
    Rest : Haralambos(big one)

    Paper II:
Mahapatra sir notes + IGNOU(you can also go for some other coaching institute)

PS: paper ii is very dynamic so you need to update it regularly
  • you can also refer to anthony giddens but it is more abstract so go for it if you are comfortable with it
