I joined his classes for this mains 2017...He is v.knowledgeful no doubt about that and teaches good..But the problem is he is v.unprofessional...he doesn't complete the syllabus on time, half of his teaching time is wasted by his gyaan which is only about bashing govt..He increases the timing drastically hence making your time table in last month go haywire....I enrolled for a 3 hour class and ultimate had to attend 6-7 hour daily that too in last one month....I would rather suggest take notes from any student who has joined ...but don't join ...U will regret it later as your precious time will be wasted..

Completely agree with you. I was myself waiting to write a review on Chokkalingam Classes after Mains so that it could be useful for future aspirants
I heard about Chokkalingam for the first time on this forum. After seeing lot of good review took online Mains Current Affairs classes. At start economy was good but with passing time I started to regret my decision to enrol. There is no doubt that Chokkalingam Sir, is extremely knowledgeable, his way of explaining foreign affairs was excellent. But still, I would not ever recommend it to anyone who is going to write Mains. The time this course takes to compete is huge. Instead of listening to his classes for 3-6 hours, 5 days a week, for 3 months, I would any day recommend only reading and revising his or any other notes which can be done within a week if you have been doing newspapers regularly.
For those who have money, time and are not appearing for mains, do attend his classes, his view points will definitely add to your knowledge. Strictly not recommended after Prelims if you are writing Mains

Would you recommend his Mains foundation course which is of 5+1(after prelims) duration!?
I never joined him for any course but his vision in predicting questions is highly flawed and useless , as before 2016 mains I was watching a video of his on ethics where he proudly claims that UPSC would never ask what Kautilya said on ethics and other thinkers and that same year UPSC asked on Kautilya , Weber , Rawls , Gandhi .., I think is still there on YouTube
