  • Last year 11 lakh(approximately) applied and 4.5 lakh sat for the exam.this year around 7 lakh applied.less than 3 lakh actually wrote the exam.
it a wrong info. my roll number is 9 lakh.
roll number 9 lakh ka matlab 9 lakh log diye aisa thodi na h..1 se chalu hota h kya roll no??
Itne logo ne forum bhara h.....exam me appeared to 40-50% hi hote h
Roll numbers se total number of aspirants Ka pata nhi chalta.. bhot se form reject ho jaate h.. bhot se duplicated bhi hote h.. prelims m apne aage pichhe waalo Ka roll dekh liya kro.. 2-3 Ka gap mostly hota hi hai.. but ye baat sahi h ki last year 11 form Dali thi aur is saal 7 Lacs.. may be due to people who have got extra 2 attempts have exhausted them.
cut off ki kuch sambhavanai aa rahi h kya? paper 2 ka performance?

I too applied very late but my roll no is only in 6 lakh. 9 lakh appears inflated.
Forum to 11 lakh ne bhare h but appear 4, 5 lakh hi huye honge....last yr 10 lakh ne forum bhara tha, 4.5 lakh appeared hiye the

Sorry for typo error, I was saying that I too applied very late but my roll no is only in 6 lakh. So its unlikely roll no could be 9 lakh.
    But anything is possible.
    K leave it... B)

bc kuch bhi - 9 lakh roll number to dekha hai maine
but cetainly 11lakh se 9lakh pe drop to hua hai participation - but impportant yeh hai ki those 2 lakhs were good players or newbies got discouraged coz of increased gamble- n if it is the former fir to mauja hi mauja
Kuch aspirants n 116 cutoff and 980 seats dekhne k baad drop kia hai attempt, specially those who are in job.. ab pta nai aise kitne log hai..
jiska last attempt thaa usne mostly 116 cutoff aur 980 seats dekh ke form nehi bhara hoga..
