just a qus how do people ensure collective responsibility of cabinet ?? Can they bring adjurnment motion etc ??? Its d COM which is responsible to loksabha nd there by indirectly responsible to people... dats wht written in constitution..
Just to add : Cabinet is a subset of CoM of minister. Isme mat confuse ho jaana.
Bhaii log qstn hi nahi samjhe. Ki usme likha tha "Cabinet form of govt" , jiska matlab "parliamentary form" and "COM" bhi hai. Wo abhi bhi Cabinet and COM k difference ki peepdi baja rahe hai. This stupidity is a serious turn off.
Exactly. I have read D D Basu many times since start of prep. And it is mentioned there at many places that Parliamentary and Cabinet form of government is synonymous. They are used interchangeably. Wahi soch ke I marked that responsibility wala option.
I found speeding up things wala option absurd during exam. Sorry, but no offence intended.
Apart from that, Vairam's polity answers are rarely wrong.

Just to add : Cabinet is a subset of CoM Council of minister. Isme mat confuse ho jaana. and more thing, Collective responsibility means, ki even if one minister loses his confidence in HoP then the CoM has to go.
i know that... chutiya maat samjoo so why cabinet?? we already hav council of minister..
Cabinet may also be for speeding of things for CoM, among other advantages.
But Cabinet Form of government is different. Our and British system is called Cabinet Form of government or Parliamentary system in all types of parlance. Had it asked for need of Cabinet in CoM, speeding up things would definitely have been correct. But not in case of Cabinet Form of Government
If the question refers to British and Indian type of parliamentary/cabinet form of govt then option C is totally false. Coz parliament is never responsible to the 'people' but to the legislature only.

haha.. sala mere 2-3 dost h and mera din accha ho toh m bhi... hum log JEE and GATE m khel liye options se jaha itna tight pack rehta h options.. upsc m bhi khele 2 saall.. iss baar lekin down kar diya upsc ne.. baith hi nhi rha tha combinations.. last year 35 Qs aise hi kiye the.. isss baar sirf 20 k aaspass. nhi ho pa rha tha kuch bhi. har technique fail ho ja rhi thi.. options acche design hue h ..
