Yogi Adityanath has huge support base in purwanchal ....there was a faction in bjp who wanted to be yogi as a cm candidate before the polls... in my office people r very happy..they r saying that they have voted bjp only for yogi..yogi is most influential leader of bjp after modi in up...power struggle ke bhi chances the agar cm koi aur banta...
last year when I moved back to a sleepy town in up from delhi I cursed state govt for lack of infrastructure, electricity, roads, law n order....it takes 4-5 hours for 100 km journey by bus..a district hq gets 14-15 hours electricity supply n villages less than 8 hrs...uppsc has become example of inefficiency, corruption n nepotism..
This decision won't appear good when u r in delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore/hyd..most of my friends who r in metro towns have criticized this decision..but those who r in Ald/lko/Varanasi n other small locations of up have praised this decision..
Changes in uppsc expected..few might resign others may go to jail..exam may be cancelled n syllabus might change... interesting time ahead for uppsc aspirant n up in general... hopefully gud times only...

Bhai sahab bahat sanskari hain .... In 2005, Adityanath led a 'purification drive' which involved the conversion of Christians to Hinduism. In one such instance, 1,800 Christians were reportedly converted to Hinduism in the town of Etah in Uttar Pradesh. He said, "I will not stop till I turn UP and India into a Hindu Rashtra (Hindu state)."
As if India is his father's property. His idea of India is extremely primeval then, does not move an inch beyond Hindi heartland. But wait, he is not the only one to make such lavish claims. There was one Muslim leader from Bihar who thundered that he would make India an Islamistan. Politics of religion is sickening. Where is that finest gentleman, AB Vajpayee? His breed is yet to come. Most we have now are motormouths
Actually ..based on local conditions and political dispensations they have tactfully done some tinkering..for example in Indian society there was no economic class clash as they were trained in concept of bourgeoisie vs proletariat..so they created one different binary system of social class division..brahmins vs shudras...and then imposed all their concept learnt for European society here.
That defines BJP as well.
Let me just dissect the very first allegation against Yogi Adityanath - I know it must have beamed you up - but let's for the time being talk about the Christianity to Hindu conversion.
Honor all the gods, drink the wine and let us beam together >> :- P
