Exactly. When you will be concerned for your careeer be it job or research, you wont do all this. People do these things when they have hidden political aspirations of power. Reality is, no one cares about larger sociological issues which they represents. All they worry about is themselves and how they can rise to power. Political parties and culture of parivarwad which they represent is an example of it. Parties exploit innocent students and fulfill their objectives. It applies to all wings and groups.
Campus politics bandh karwao. Jis kisiko bhi netagiri karni hai woh jaye ya to after hours ya bunk marke. Koi bandh ke nahi rakkha hai na? Freedom of expression bhi barkaraar raha aur freedom from political nuisances bhi.
