dy sp in home state is better. dy sp is equivalent rank to assistant commissioner of income tax which it inspector would take atleast 20 years to reach there.

Dysp is any day better than any inspector post period , Delhi sho is = inspector dysp is a gazzeted post bhai and after IPS police services me next aata hai direct dysp. Can't say about jharkhand but up , mp Rajasthan , uttarakhand me dysp is big thing off course after IPS
acp is equivalent to dy sp. both had grade pay of 5400 in 6th pay commission. difference is an acp or ac(it) recruited through upsc civil service would become dcp or dc(it) in considerably lesser time than a dy sp recruited through state psc
bhai Dy sp in bihar/jharkhand is better than J.A.S./B.A.S. IG level tk aaram s pahuch jaoge. SSC posts cant be compared with these posts. Also the intake in J.P.S./B.P.S is very low keeping smooth promotion policy without any stagnation. 15 years m IPS promotion as well.

Bro, sorry to interrupt in mid of conversation... but to correct 3 star SHO but with blue red Ribbon nd DYsp 3 star without ribbon nd DPS batch.. Also DYSp is class 1 officer with 5400 grade pay. Hmm there is difference between direct recruit DYSP Ndls promotional DySp... No way ny inspector can be equal to his Senior i.e. Dysp
