  • did not clear.

biggest mistake was that I did not study during the gap period between pre and pre results declaration. And i think this is the most common mistake.

didn't study aurobindo, hanna arendt that deeply which I think everyone should have keeping in mind how relevant they were to contemporary times where there is a rise of right wing views.
    aurobindo - cultural nationalism
hanna arendt - power, ideology and rise of fascism

I think one needs to do a full reading before pre and then read newspapers to get an idea as to what political ideology is currently applicable or relevant, in order to maximize one's chances of answering questions.

also, in paper 1, did an overkill by spending too much time on 150 marks and then doing the remaining 100 marks in section B in 35-40 minutes. there would have been obvious mismatch in quality, and this leads to inconsistency. I think students are penalized for being inconsistent. That famous ''write all answers'' rule as propounded by Mr. Rachit Raj holds some weight if you consider the fact that writing all answers points to 'consistency' of the candidate.

In paper 2, wrote very generally, without approximating my answers within theoretical frameworks.
  • @ashwinisharma777@gmail.com bhai paper 2 ke liye kya reference use kiya tha
  • no specific preparation for paper 2. just did past years question papers + GS 2

I invested too much time into preparing for GS papers, thinking that the syllabus for such papers is vast, and as a result I cannibalized the time for preparing for optional paper. Optional papers usually repeat the same questions from their past years and this year too was not much different. But excessive investment in prep for GS cost me.
  • not cleared , bcoz i did not practice answer writing ....it all my fault ....
  • @dhannu better luck next time brother
