Hi Guys,

I have marked Console Gaming as Hobby precisely PS4 as hobby.

Anyone else who had marked console gaming as hobby in DAF
what kind of questions can we expect ?

A few I can predict of ?

You aren't teenager to have console gaming as hobby ?
Can you actually have Console gaming as hobby. It could be seen just a leisure activity ? But does it really qualify as hobby ?
What is the revenue of Gaming industry in India and across the globe in 2016 ?
What are the trends in Gaming Industry ? Will console gaming continue to increase etc ?

I had it last year. They(PK Joshi Board) asked me what is the difference between PC and Console gaming? Which one do you prefer and why? That's it on this topic.

You need to prepare for questions in a broad manner. Like Why you like gaming? Link between Gaming and real world violence, gaming a role in shaping your administration skills, what type of games you like why, link between gaming industry and piracy in India, did you ever buy a pirated game ? Etc.

I had it last year. They(PK Joshi Board) asked me what is the difference between PC and Console gaming? Which one do you prefer and why? That's it on this topic.

You need to prepare for questions in a broad manner. Like Why you like gaming? Link between Gaming and real world violence, gaming a role in shaping your administration skills, what type of games you like why, link between gaming industry and piracy in India, did you ever buy a pirated game ? Etc.

that means Basically the commission interview panels has limited and very generic knowledge about Console Gaming and should expect generic questions.

one more query, was the panel interested in Console gaming hobby or they just asked it to complete the formality of asking 1 or 2 hobbies questions

@Arkham Knight This was the only question they have asked me on the hobbies. I cannot say if they have asked for the sake of formality or not. There is no rule that they should ask on hobbies at all, some boards may skip asking about hobbies all together. And your deduction that panels have very generic knowledge about gaming just from my interview would be ultra gross generalization. A surprise might be waiting for us on the judgement day if a member turns out to be knowledgeable on the topic. As it is said 'Hope for the best, prepare for the worst', it is better to prepare comprehensively.
