Sorry bro, I don't have a anthro optional, I was quoting hemu Bhai who has. I hope you find some one to answer your query or post it in some other anthro related threads. Best wishes.

    3. Varna is only a reference model not reality.. u have already written caste so i think iska utility nhi

    5. isse social system kaise hua.. --- uniformity of administration kaise ??

    i doubt these...

    --- DC
    -- JS
-- village as unity and extension

    yeh 3 points major the..
  • @hemu 1.uniformity of administration - from akbar time to british to post 1947 changes were more or less uniform across india . so every change they faced provided some sort of cohesiveness and identity

2.Varna becoz it provides ready refernces to identity in a village across india

thda subjective h bt i hope EXAMINER babuu maan jayenge

actually irrelevant h.. varna is a reference model (just for sake of understanding of schoalrs), it is not empirical reality (caste is reality)..

caste speaks of same thing which u have already mentioned.. division of labor etc.

emile senart as well as MNS says, whole varna model has prodcued a wrong image of caste..
  • @hemu ab jo h likh diya h dost !! letz c
  • Sacred complex concept is used in study of rise of urban centres.. so village as a social system m fit h ki nhi yeh bolna sahi nhi lagta... baaki i am also student only.. let professor decide
  • @hemu bhai mera central idea tha "collective consciuosness" . this leads to a social system hence jahan v ye aa raha h daal diya . may it be in identity , culture , administration etc . hence those seemingly "irrelevant" points :)

yaar social systems are not only about collective consciousness.. but also of rivalries and potential conflicts camouflaged in ohter aspects.. DC and JS is not about collective consciousness as such.. there are conflicts as well.. u can go through Yogndra singh's idea
