@merc_benz bro how is defence as optional. Is it manageable in short time? How much time it takes to finish syllabus? How is its marking pattern in uppsc.. Any other book in English other then u mentioned above?? I want to give PCS this year. don't have idea about this subject . Geo is my optional in upsc hence will continue with it in PCS also.
Partner paper1 takes about one month. Nature of 2nd is entirely different. It is quite vast and dynamic. Regarding the former adhikari's one booklet i found was sufficient. As i said, what i felt, 2nd is dynamic so any selected material is not advisable. Internal security, ir, idsa kinda material may be feasible. + previous yr solved papers, but these r in hindi only. Take advice from others also. I hvnt done very well in 2nd paper

mains 2016 copies r still awaiting for ckecking..stored somewhere in allahabad...so dont think too much about 2016...think about 2017...this is shocking but true..dont ask about source of info...
