one info from my source... candidates who have exhausted attempts in 2011-2014 would only get attempts... further age is relaxed by one year for all categories for this year.. 33/36/38... total number attempts from base 2011-2015 ( here 2015 as compensatory attempt) has to be 4... so ppl who have exhausted their attempts in 2015 will not get attempt (attempt within age limit).. only one compensatory attempt is given this yr.. this news is from most trusted source..one can check with their source.. final draft is ready.. notification for this yr would be delayed for 4-5 days, most probably.. if u agree or dont agree with this news , pls dont ask any further details.. simple calculation is -taking 2011 as base year and if 2017 as compensatory attempt if total number of attempts are 5, u wud get attempt, irrespective of age, but if its 6, u wouldn't get.. 2011- 2014 is considered.. this is how final draft is been prepared.. pls dont ask questions.. pls check from ur sources
Bhai tu confused hai.plan ye hai: 1attempt fr all whosoever wrote exam starting from 2011 upto 2014..and they are not eligible fr 2017(irrespective of age n attempt).In general also attmpt is getting increases by 1 n age limit 33.so we r nt in danger.abhi rules nhn bane hain.wait n portobello tum mujje msg kar ke poochh rhe the ab khud source ban gaye..
But swamy Ji my question still remains...those who still have a last attempt left in 2017, will they benefit in 2018 due to this?

I honestly don't think the movement has gathered enough momentum to warrant the extra attempts. The 2 extra attempt movement and the anti-CSAT movement were HUGE. The former preceded the general elections with Rahul Gandhi in a mood to save UPA-2's votes come what may and the latter was only after students sat on indefinite hunger strike and there was violence in Mukherjee Nagar.
As much as I desperately want extra attempts, I would be massively surprised if this bears any fruit. Not unless something massive happens right before central and eastern UP go to polls. And India bhai's comments take away the very little hope I had developed.
In any case with prelims in June, this may leave the old timers with very little time to prepare for the exam.
