We don't have numbers. Anti-CSAT drew crowd because it affected all. A 24 year old was as affected by it as a 30 year old. People thought that with CSAT around their dream will never materialize. Hence they came in large numbers. The core team was better and was able to draw the attention of both politicians and media. There was adequate funding and guidance from Hindi medium coachings also.
Now the issue only related to those who appeared for the exam between 2011-2015. Majority of them might have left Delhi or started on with other things. Like most people I know from 2011-2012 have left Delhi. Hence drawing crowds is an issue. I don't think we can ever have the same level of crowd as anti-CSAT had. So it is important to plan properly and the core team has no clue when it comes to that.
Where is the social media campaign? Where is the mainstream media? Where is the planning? They know we are short on protestors and yet asked people to congregate for Indresh Ji's birthday. What was the point? Shouldn't they have rather asked people to congregate when the main protest was to take place?
And common sense says that when the government is unwilling to listen you contact the opposition. These guys kept running around RSS and ABVP people. They should have contacted Congress and SP and used the movement as an example of Modi's antipathy towards Hindi speaking students. With UP elections going on, this would have out a lot of pressure on the government.
I give them credit for trying. And I accept that they have tried more than I could ever have. But then if choose to be in a position of leadership, you should act like one. This core team didn't.
This is my last comment on the Forum. I travelled from Jammu to celebrate some guy's birthday who gave us a grand total of 10-15 minutes and politely said he cannot really help now. I will come again one final time on the 21st. Its a lost battle now. for two years in succession this core team has been taken for a ride by politicians. They learnt nothing from the 2016 fiasco.

Totally agree with you my friend. But dont lose hope. 1 minute me duniya badal jaati hai. Lets pray and give a tough fight to this government. Even if we don't win, we won't have regrets that we din try one last time. After all we are fighting for our dream which is most important than anything else. If god is for us,who can be against us. Most of the students who qualified between 2011 to 2014 did so bcoz of paper 2, most of them did badly in paper 1 ie the GS paper. Paper 1 nd paper 2 ka weightage bhi different tha as in per question more marks as far as paper 2 was cncerned. Thn aftr the protest paper 2 was made qualifying. So what about the students who suffered between 2011 nd 2014. Why cant the administration understand this simple thing. All v r asking for is just one attempt nd what v r demanding is our right. They should grant us atleast 1 attempt. Plz make thm understand that v r not wrong in asking for another attempt. What they r doing is injustice.
Sunny Mehra I attended that function with the so called core team, returned home at 2 am. reason to go there and to be with them was no one was sharing anything and i wanted to end this suspence. I do not know what Mr Pankaj is saying above, why and on what basis.I don't know whether it is right or not to share what happened last night without their permission but I will try to shed some light on the ground situation. First I and all the students there did not go there to attend cultural function. The leader has given us the time to meet him. There he met us after the function but was perhaps not able to do our work, so his behaviour was not cordial.We all left the venue and outside the ndmc office there was some debate/infighting among the members of the core team as regarding the next course of action. Some were not ready to leave without protesting against the leader like murdabaad ka naara, who gave us assurances for so many months but.... Exactly at that time one of his men came outside the venue and told us that the leader wanted to meet us at his residence. We all went there and after some time we came to know that he will come at 12. We all waited for him WITHOUT ANY FOOD SINCE MORNING. He came there at around12.30am and again we waited for another half an hour until he finished his tea etc. in some other room. Finally he came and told us he tried his best but ,in his words, " bureaucracy ne aapka kam rok kar rakha hai, aapki file band kar di hai, maine ek baar phir se, ek politician se or ek bureaucrat se baat ki hai, dekho somvaar tak kuch ho jai shayad.... Many of the students started explaining how they have suffered in last one and half years, but he did not give any satisfactory assurance ): We all left his residence, the meeting with him was hardly for more than 10 minutes. Outside his residence we all were very upset. now they will meet again one other leader( they were talking that they had lost two attempts of success, in one case they even got the chance to meet mr jitender singh face to face at zhandewalan but due to over-confidence/undemanding behaviour of some person who challenged jitender singh that" loktantra hai aap nahi denge to lar kar le lenge" spoiled that attempt and the leader who fixed that meeting and had the potential distanced himself from the issue. Now they are planning to meet him again tommarow, that is today! but they were not agreed upon what exactly to do. Already it was around 1:30 am so they decided to meet again and decide the next course of action. They will perhaps use extreme measures in the next couple of days! I salute their sacrifices and their spirit of fight! but their faith in this leader cost them dearly and perhaps all of us! What i think is it is still possible to get attempt, they have not said yet that it's all over. they will fight further, at least till notification, like meeting the prime minister..Friends they really need your help they have really suffered a lot. you need to give your next three-four days to this cause if the word IAS still creates sensation in your body.I know you have have many complains against core team, like one guy came from banglore in a flight and left again to bangalore on the same day. his message which you can read in some post is not fake. he was not satisfied with what was going on there but believe me everyone from the core team is in terrible frustration. they really need your help and that is your personal attendance. now there is a headache in my head, will talk to you in the morning.......

Just look back and see have not we did many mistakes which have brought us to this juncture, they have not overrellied on one person, but they don't have many options. They were backed by this leader who is indeed very powerful, even with God's grace there might be a good news on Monday, but if we need to blame anyone we need to look at ourselves, how many times we participated in their protests, we are just Facebook and forumias people,we have so many things to do, before the protest they call around 2000 and only 100/200 agree, they have 12000 members in their group, even if half of them come to protest or to their help we can still win, then they don't need to sit at near the feet of a politician folding their hands and crying. Before commenting on my post please think about this friends once again.If you in any way interested in the attempts please leave everything and come to Delhi, it is the lack of numbers that forced them to beg before these politicians. Now all my hopes are on you people. Believe me they have suffered a lot, yesterday was my third participation, I ate nothing till 2:30 am, just think how many times they have suffered the same thing.Atleast now leave your other things for some time and come to Delhi. The delay for all this is due to our lack of participation and please don't post any negative or abusive comments, they don't deserve that. The talks of 33/7 or working of separate groups maybe entirely wrong, that is what I have noticed yesterday

Yes brother. Even I also find 33/7 as a rumour. This is just to stop people from protesting by giving them false hopes. They hvnt sanctioned attempt to anyone. All are rumors
